Edward “Ed” Scaro

A 1978 graduate of Elkhorn Area High School in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, Ed was accepted to the University of Wisconsin – Platteville’s Engineering program and graduated in 1982 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Ed then was accepted into the Graduate Engineering program at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and received his Masters Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 1984.
Ed immediately began his career in Environmental Engineering with specific emphasis in the solid waste and recycling industry and has held the following positions:
- Project Manager – Landfill Construction Division
- General Manager – BFI Troy Area Landfill
- Vice President – Valley Sanitation (Landfill, Hauling and Recycling Operation)
- Managing Partner – Sharps Incinerator of Fort (Biomedical Waste Hauling and Treatment Operation)
- General Manager – Superior Services (Landfill and Hauling Operating with Revenues of $10 Million annually)
- Acquisitions Project Manager – Superior Services
- Midwest Regional Landfill Manager – Superior Services
- Special Projects Manager – Tate Management
Ed is registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin.
Ed has served on the Board of Directors for various organizations through out his career including; Fort Atkinson Rotary Club, Fort Atkinson Chamber of Commerce, Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital and Elkhorn Area High School Booster Club and VIP Services, Inc.
